Last Friday, May the 4th, middle school students at Gulliver Academy in Pinecrest, hosted primary and lower school students in a STEAM fair where students learned how to code with more than 5 different platforms, like Beebots, Dash, Ozobots, Sphero, and Arduino.

The event also involved related STEAM fields like science with an astronaut training booth and a water bottle rocket launch; art with student-made musical instruments and an Arduino based fruit piano; and Math with catapult launches.

The event is also meant to encourage empathy and compassion as the middle school students teach younger students.

Because of her work with Ozobots, the Ozobot company invited Channel 7 news to interview Mrs. Cindy Gonzalez, and the vent was showcased in the news.
